Sven was one of the largest office furniture manufacturers in the UK, with an impressive factory located in Kingswinford near Birmingham. I took a series of photos documenting the work and the people involved. One of the photos was selected as one of the winning images for the Portrait of Britain 2019 competition organised by the British Journal of Photography. Unfortunately, Sven did not survive the challenging times brought about by the pandemic.
